My Rent Kenya Pricing
No setup fee, no licence fee and no contract. You choose how you collect rent, and that decides how you pay us — a small commission on rent collected through the platform, or a flat monthly fee per unit if you collect through your own paybill.
Collect through My Rent Kenya
Rent is collected through the platform paybill, reconciled to the right unit automatically, and remitted to your wallet. We keep 1% of each successful payment — nothing else.
- No monthly fee and no minimum
- You only pay when rent is actually collected
- Automatic M-Pesa reconciliation and receipts
- Withdraw to M-Pesa or your bank whenever you like
Best for landlords who want collection handled end to end.
Use your own paybill
Rent goes straight to your own paybill or bank account — the platform never touches the money, so you keep 100% of the rent. Instead you pay a flat KES 100 a month for each unit under management.
- 100% of rent stays with you
- Predictable monthly cost that scales with your portfolio
- All the same features, reports and portals
- Switch between models at any time
Best for property managers and larger portfolios with an existing paybill.

Pricing questions
Is there a setup or subscription fee?
No. There is no setup fee, no licence fee and no long-term contract. You pay either a 1% commission on rent collected through the platform, or KES 100 per unit per month if you collect through your own paybill.
Can I keep collecting rent through my own paybill?
Yes. Connect your own paybill or bank account and rent never passes through us — you keep 100% of it. In that case you are billed the flat per-unit monthly fee instead of a commission.
How much does it cost for a small landlord?
If you collect through the platform there is no fixed cost at all — you are charged only when a tenant actually pays, at 1% of that payment. A landlord with five units collecting KES 20,000 a unit would pay roughly KES 1,000 for the month.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The live demo lets you use the full system as a landlord, agent, caretaker or tenant with no signup and no card. Under the commission model you are never charged until rent is collected, so there is nothing to pay while you set up.
